구내 건조증 (구강 건조증), Xerostomia(Dry mouth/Decreased salivation)

입안이 건조한 증상 징후를 구내 건조증, 또는 구강 건조증이라고 한다.
열, 탈수, 항 콜린작동성 약물, 미쿨리츠 병, 쇼그렌 증후군, 타액선 주위에 있는 종양을 방사능으로 치료받은 후, 심한 스트레스 등으로 타액이 충분히 분비되지 않을 때 생긴다.
치료는 원인에 따라 한다.
구내 건조증이 있으면 충치가 생기기 쉽다.

Xerostomia (Dry mouth/Decreased salivation)

A symptom of dry mouth is called dry mouth, or dry mouth.

It occurs when there is insufficient saliva secretion due to severe stress, etc. after treatment with radiation for fever, dehydration, anticholinergic drugs, Mikulitz disease, Sjogren’s syndrome, or tumors around the salivary glands.

Treatment depends on the cause. If you have dry mouth, you are more likely to get cavities.
