불소 침착증, Fluorosis

불소 침착증을 불소증이라고도 한다.
치아 발육 기간 중 불소를 과다히 섭취하면 치아의 법랑질에 반점 모양의 변색이 생길 수 있다.
불소 1일 권장 용량보다 더 많은 불소를 장기간 섭취하면 불소 침착증이 생길 수 있다.

불소 침착증의 원인 진단 치료

불소가 과다하게 많이 든 음료수를 마시고 거기다가 불소 소금을 섭취하고 또 불소제를 경구로 복용하거나 불소가 든 물로 치아를 헹굴 때 불소 침착증이 생길 수 있다.
생후 6개월 이전 영아들이 Amoxicillin으로 치료 받으면 불소 침착증이 생길 수 있다6.
병력 진찰 소견을 종합해서 진단한다.

Fluorosis

Fluorosis is also called fluorosis.

Excessive intake of fluoride during tooth development can cause spot-like discoloration on the enamel of the teeth.

Long-term intake of more fluoride than the recommended daily dose of fluoride can lead to fluorosis.

Diagnosis and treatment , causes of fluorosis

Fluoridosis can be caused by drinking excessively high fluoride beverages, ingesting fluoride salts, taking fluoride tablets by mouth, or rinsing teeth with fluoride water.

Infants before 6 months of age may develop fluorosis when treated with amoxicillin6.

Diagnosis is based on the findings of the medical history.
